Laser cutting head
The entire optical system (cutting head internals) is maintenance-free on a regular basis.
Focus and collimator lenses are only replaced if a cutting quality defect appears.
❌ It is strictly forbidden to blow the cutting head surface with compressed air — this can damage the head. ❌
Required for head maintenance:
1) 99% isopropyl alcohol or Extra Pure acetone (OSCh) from Khimmed;
2) Dry non-woven cloth (synthetic towels);
3) Protective bottom glass.
Process:
1) Wipe the cutting head body surface with an alcohol synthetic cloth until all traces of soot, dust and combustion products are removed;
2) If the bottom protective glass has defects — replace it with a new one.
